God Has A Plan For Your Life
I'm sure most of have heard the saying, “God has a plan for your life”.
Now if you are a believer, of course these words have a tendency to bring a level of comfort to you, especially in times of sorrow or loss.
However, finding out exactly what that plan is, and how to achieve it, well that is another story.
God tells us in Jeremiah 29:11 that he has plans for you .... "...plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Sounds amazing, (right?) but, there is no mention of exactly what His plan is.
And--it's not very likely you'll find it.
It's simply part of our human nature to want to know the plan, and have it all laid out in front of us, but I believe God wants us to think outside the box--and it all starts with a vision.
Vision is when God gives us little glimpse or flashes scenes of us doing things like running a business or doing ministry. Somehow God's vision become alive within us, and no matter what we're doing, or where we are at, we just can’t seem to shake it.
Proverbs 3:5 gives us some direction on what you should do, "wait on the Lord, trust in Him, and lean not on your own understanding"
I know, I know: much easier said than done, however we must keep in mind, the way we see things, is not the way God sees things. Therefore, we must allow the Holy Spirit to lead us.
Let's take a look at Psalm 127:1 which says, "Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it..."
In other words, your business/ ministry, must be built under the direction of God.
In actuality, I see my business as my ministry and I would suggest the same for you.
As an entrepreneur that serves God, your first goal should not be to get rich, but to provide your customers/clients with the best product/services that you can provide.
Even in business you are an ambassador of Christ!
In Matt 6:33, the word of Gods says, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”.
The "these things", are the desires of your heart, which can literally be interpreted to book sales, sold out events, booked calendar for speaking engagements etc (which leads to an increased cash flow).
If you diligently seek God in business and in ministry, He will make your pathway clear to walk out the vision for your destiny.
Alright Guys until next time!
