Planning Your 2020 Black Friday Offer

Well, we are about to roll into another holiday season, and all I can say is Praise The Lord, w've made it thus far into 2020, happy and healthy! #NoExplanationNeeded

Just in case your mind hasn’t quite made it to the upcoming holidays yet—I thought I drop in and give you a little nudge to help you get there.

Black Friday Officially Kicks Off The Holiday Season

Especially with the surge on online activity, I believe it’s absolutely imperative that you take the time now and start investing some additional time into creating a couple of product offers for this upcoming season, as well as ginning to develop a specific marketing strategy for your business.

Now, we’re not talking just any old offer— as in something you kinda toss together right before the actual day….

Nope, the wisdom here is to be 100% intentional with both your Black Friday offers and in setting your Black Friday sales goals

So, Why All the Hype Around Black Friday?

Well if you tuned in to last week’s livestream in the Kingdom CEO Movement Facebook group, then you’re already familiar with…..

1. The strategies I shared for developing your 4th Quarter goals (which includes your numbers for Black Friday)

2. You know that creating a Black Friday offer is one of the best ways to increase your profits in the last quarter of the year.

3. You know that over $90 billion dollars are spent in online sales during the holiday season (which means there are plenty of profits for everyone to go around)

4. The major holidays that can boost your 4th quarter sales include: Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas, New Year’s Eve

5. You have the option of either making a little extra money on the side, or you can get intentional w/ your promotions by committing to show up for your assignment, making more sales and creating an additional stream(s) of income.

6. In other words, you should be creating and executing your Back Friday marketing & sales plans ahead of time, so you aren’t shooting in the dark with your offers.

So, today we’re going to look at a couple of steps you need to take in getting your business ready for Black Friday

Mobilize Your Website For Sales

You also want to make sure your site is optimized to receive sales.

There should be a place, where customers can go to, see your products, read a description of them, make the purchase, obtain delivery specifications and if digital- have the product automatically sent to them.

Personally, I’ve attached a store (which is really a shopping cart and/or ecommerce software) to my website, where my products are made available for purchase.

Some other options may be to use ecommerce software where both physical products can be viewed/purchased, and your digital products can also be automatically delivered for instant download after purchase.

Some examples include...

a. Shopify

b. BigCommerce

c. Paykickstart

d. Squarespace

e. Wix (which I use)

Mobilize Your Followers

The next thing you need to do examine the state of your followers.

Did you know that it’s possible for your followers to forget about your brand/messaging if you haven’t been regularly engaging with them?

Therefore, my suggestion if for you to take some time to check out your social media profiles, making sure everything is up to date.

For example—I’d suggest to start by examining the following, making sure to immediately stop and update each item as needed.

a. your banners

b. profile pictures

c. your bio

d. business contact info

e. links/buttons

Next it would be a great idea for you to focus on your content.

Have you been posting valuable links, useful tips, and other content that your followers will find helpful? If not, go ahead and schedule a few updates to go out in the next week.

If executed consistently, your new/updated content should get you back on track and help remind your audience why they’re subscribed to you in the first place

I’d like to close by reiterating that how important it is for you to always do the behind the scenes work, making sure to properly prepare your business for upcoming sales.

As a result, you’ll not only see larger profits, but you’ll also enjoy your own Black Friday holiday season more when you have a profits plan in place.
