Top 3 Things That Have Me Feeling Thankful, Grateful & Blessed😊

Ok, so is it just me, or did anyone else look at the calendar, and wonder just where the year of 2019 has gone?

I’m sure most of us realize we should feel thankful all 365 days of the year, you have to admit, the whole Thanksgiving season reminds us to be—well……. Thankful!

Well, this holiday season, I passed by a small window poster that read

“Thankful, Grateful & Truly Blessed”

Needless to say, I found the words on the poster really resonated with me. In fact, I found the words so meaningful, that I decided to adopt it as my own personal mantra, for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday season, and beyond (i.e., the next 365 days)

Further, I thought it would be cool to share with you, how each word currently relates to me.

Feeling Thankful....

Thankful: It’s hard to list just one thing, however I’d have to say that I am most thankful for salvation. I made the decision to walk with Christ over 20 years ago, and just the thought that have something that’s so much greater than any of the external circumstances that surround me, makes my heart swell!

When I think of God, and His mercies, forgiveness, grace and sacrifice for me, I’m truly thankful!

Feeling Grateful....

Grateful: I think I’m most grateful for wisdom.

Wisdom can be defined as: the soundness of an action or decision with regard to the application of experience, knowledge and good judgment.

You know, I’ve heard many people around my age mention how different thing would be if they could just go back and do things over again. Although I respect their opinion, I can’t say I feel the same way.

I would not trade all the wisdom I’ve gained and lessons I’ve learned for from the people, situations, and decisions I’ve made (both good and bad) throughout the last 47 years of my life.

As a bonus, I am now able to share all that good wisdom the thousands of people I encounter daily as an online entrepreneur.

Feeling Blessed....

Blessed: First I want you to know that I consider being “blessed” so much more than having good fortune, getting a desired outcome or the accumulation of possessions.

It has a deeper meaning for me. Think back to the creation story in the book of Genesis. Each thing that God created, he blessed it, and called it good.

So to me, I am most blessed by all things “good” in my life, and all things in my life that are “working for my good”. Regardless of how it makes me feel at the moment, I know that in one way or another, it’s Good, and thereby a blessing.

Alrighty, y’all, I think like to wrap up here by encouraging you to share in my journey of 365 days of Thankful, Grateful & Blessed.

Actually I think it’s more of a mindset shift, than a journey, but hey, the important thing is that it’s happening.

Finally, in closing, I’m extending my heartfelt wishes to you and your family to have an AMAZINGLY, Happy Thanksgiving Holiday, that is filled with Thankfulness, Gratefulness and Blessings!

xxoo,
